The Lay of the Land II

The Lay of the Land II explores a similar earthy palette through a more open, flowing composition. Warm sandy tones, soft pinks and deeper plum move across the canvas, with translucent layers allowing colours to merge and separate.

Inspired by the natural colours and textures of the Australian landscape, the painting is less about capturing a particular place and more about the feeling of the landscape through colour and movement.

This artwork can be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation and will be signed on the front after purchase in the buyer’s preferred orientation.
