New Beginnings

New Beginnings grew through layers of transparent colour, with parts of earlier compositions deliberately left visible beneath the surface. Soft pinks, lilacs and blues sit alongside warm peach and unexpected flashes of brighter colour, while more structured shapes emerge through the softer washes.

Rather than completely covering what came before, each new layer responded to it. The painting became a reminder that sometimes a new beginning doesn’t mean starting over — it means finding a different way forward with what is already there.

Designed to work in either portrait or landscape orientation, New Beginnings will be signed on the front after purchase in the buyer’s preferred orientation.
