Original Artwork

Journey I began as a completely different painting. Rather than abandoning what wasn’t working, I painted back into it, allowing traces of the original to remain beneath new layers.

Soft blush, indigo, blue and warm neutrals drift across the canvas, with earlier marks appearing and disappearing beneath the surface. What began as a change of direction became part of the work itself – a reminder that sometimes the most interesting outcome comes from letting go of where you thought you were heading.

Pairs well with Journey II, available individually or as a pair.
