Deep indigo and cobalt move through softer layers of periwinkle and pale blue in Ink Tide I. Fluid washes spread, pool and dissolve across the canvas, creating areas of intensity alongside quieter, open spaces.

Inspired by the movement and shifting depths of water, the painting lets the fluidity of the medium become part of the composition.
